From The Summit With Justin Evangelho of The Disenabled Podcast Part 3

Hello again, I hope that you are doing as well as possible given all the many challenges we find ourselves facing in the world.

It’s been a while since the last post to the site due to some difficult challenges here at Shredding For Gold.

Personal Challenges

It started off pretty well. Emily was taking her usual summer break to get ready for the intense physical conditioning and race training to come this season.

But then, her beloved first guide dog Olivia took a turn for the worst.

It was extremely strenuous on Emily, her family, and even poor Darling who saw Olivia as her sister.

Then the knee discomfort I had been dealing with for a while got progressively worse very quickly.

As her producer I felt terrible for not being able to get her new podcast episodes or interviews out where you could benefit from them.

Thankfully, my doctor seems to think he has the answer. It is a long course of physical therapy to build up the muscles around the knee, hip, and lower back.

Better Adventures Ahead

While things have been hard, I think Emily will agree with me that lots of great things are ahead.

She is looking forward to an awesome race season thanks to her amazing new team of guides and a very supportive new sponsor.

And for the first time in over two years I have hopes of being more like my former self soon.

Part 3 of her Interview on The Disenabled Podcast

Before I give you all the great details about what Emily and Justin spoke about in the conclusion to their amazing conversation, I want to make it easy for you to check out the first two parts.

I am so happy to be able to be posting this for Emily Today. I’m not 100% yet, but I was feeling like I was letting the team down.

And it is such an amazing team. Emily, Darling, her family, and all the team starfish fans that continue to root Emily on.

And of course me her scribe and publicist. So honored to help her out in this small way.

And I can’t wait to be there when she steps down from the podium with that first gold medal around her neck.

Please send us a message or use the comments field. We want to do all we can to build a relationship here that grows beyond simply bloggers & podcasters with their followers.

Until next time stay safe out there.

And Adventure Ahead!
